Year 6, you have almost completed primary school!
Firstly, I would like to congratulate children for all the effort in the run up to SATS and to thank parents for ensuring children were relaxed during the whole week.
What next?
Now Year 6 have plenty to get excited about: we have a car wash on Monday (to raise funds for ourLeavers’ party); Go Ape; Sports Day; Forest School;Bikeability; Year 6 K2M Glockenspiel performance; our Year 6 Graduation assembly and finally ourLeavers’ assembly.
More details will follow as the children begin to organise their events and we thank you in advance for the help and support I know you’ll give the children with these events.
Transition
Furthermore, there will also a few transition dates for you to note on the right hand side of this newsletter. Schools may also contact you with other transition dates.
P.E
As Sports Day is right around the corner, children will be preparing for athletic activities in P.E so P.E kit is required in school at all times. This consists of a white shirt, black shorts and appropriate footwear for the field. We will also be preparing for a dance to per-form at our Leavers’ assembly so children can choose to wear P.E kit or comfortable clothing to dance in.
Thank you again for all your support this year.

Attendance
Encouraging regular attendance is one of the most powerful ways to support children; both for their happiness and well- being, as well as improving their learning in school. In the spring term our classes attendance was 94.6% with our
school target being 96.1%. With your continued support, we hope to achieve our school target attendance in the summer term.
